Well, I finally went and did it. I started blogging. I've been commenting on assorted and sundry sites, forums, and other blogs for several years. Over time my posts have grown longer and longer and closer and closer to blog posts. I finally hit a tipping point where I decided I might as well publish long-form versions of my comments at a central location, where they don't vanish within minutes.
Yes, this blog's title is not very descriptive, but I plan to cover many topics of interest, from politics and current events to meditation and consciousness to yesterday's Phish concert. Basically a core dump of stuff that's been floating around in my brain the last several years. Hopefully anyone who stumbles across this page will find some of these perspectives interesting. But if not, well, at least I'll have them written out so I can stop thinking about them and move on to new and interesting topics.
